Amendment #16 to S3064

Shrewsbury Climate Resilient Pocket Parks and Green Space Initiative

Mrs. Kane of Shrewsbury moves to amend the bill in section 2C, in item 2000-7089, by adding the following words:-

"; provided further, that $200,000 shall be expended to the town of Shrewsbury to provide for the planning, identification, development, and implementation of sustainable pocket parks and public green spaces on school properties and municipal land, incorporating native, low-maintenance, and pollinator-friendly plantings that support climate resilience, biodiversity, environmental education, and community recreation and use"
