Drought Management and Watershed Resilience

Mr. Kearney of Scituate moves to amend the bill in section 2B, in item 2200-7038, by adding the following: “; provided further, that funds authorized herein may be expended for drought preparedness, streamflow monitoring, watershed assessment, water conservation initiatives, environmental monitoring, water supply resilience planning and related activities to protect river ecosystems, wetlands, drinking water resources and aquatic habitat during periods of drought”
