Ms. Edwards, Mr. Eldridge, Ms. Howard, Mr. Keenan, Ms. Jehlen, Ms. Kennedy, Ms. Miranda and Messrs. Mark, Gómez, Montigny and Moore move that the proposed new text be amended in section 15(7), by striking lines 562 through 564, and inserting in place thereof the following language:-

“The attorney general shall issue guidance providing for a process to submit complaints for violations of this section and may investigate a certifying entity for failing to comply with this act, and may seek declaratory, injunctive or other equitable relief for the petitioner including certification. Such decision and relief shall be made within 60 days after the initial deadline has passed or within 14 days if federal removal proceedings or court date is pending or if the petitioner has a derivative beneficiary that will age out within 45 days.”
