Physician and Health Center Representation

Mr. Cyr moves that the proposed new draft be amended by adding the following sections:- 

SECTION XX.  Section 2 of said chapter 6D of the General laws, as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 9, the figure “11” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “13”.

SECTION XX.  Said section 2 of said chapter 6D of the General laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 11, the figure “6” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “8”.

SECTION XX. Said section 2 of said chapter 6D of the General laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the words “devices.”, in line 41, the following words:-

“The seventh person appointed by the governor shall be a primary care physician. The eighth person appointed by the governor shall have demonstrated expertise in representing community health centers.”
