Nurse Practitioner Representation

Messrs. Cyr, O'Connor and Eldridge move that the proposed new draft be amended in section 5, by striking out, in lines 99 -100,  the words “3 of whom shall be primary care physicians” and inserting in place thereof:- “3 of whom shall be licensed primary care clinicians with expertise in delivering primary care services, of which 1 shall be a nurse practitioner recognized as a primary care provider pursuant to section 3 of chapter 176R”; and by striking out, in lines 100 - 101, the words:- “at least 1 of whom shall be a primary care physician with” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “1 shall have”; and by striking out, in line 103, the words “of whom”.
