Relative to offering relief to all users from addictive social media feeds

Mr. Fernandes moves that the proposed new draft be amended in section 1, in lines 104 through 109, inclusive, by striking out the entirety of the words contained therein, and inserting in place thereof the following words:-

"Section 2. (a)(1) Unless a user expressly and unambiguously requests to change a safety setting specified in this paragraph and the covered operator has used commercially reasonable and technically feasible methods to determine that the user is not a covered minor, the covered operator shall set default social media platform safety settings for a user that shall:"; and

in section 1, in lines 187 through 190, inclusive, by striking clause (f) in its entirety.
