Anti-retaliation

Messrs. Tarr, Montigny and O'Connor move that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after Section 16II(f) the following new subsection: "(g) No licensed home care agency, consumer-employer, or surrogate shall discharge, demote, suspend, threaten, harass, or in any other manner discriminate or retaliate against a home care worker or personal care attendant in the terms and conditions of employment, including the reduction of work hours or compensation, because the worker or personal care attendant has in good faith reported unsafe working conditions, abusive treatment, neglect, misappropriation of property, or wage and hour violations."
