Abusive Treatment Definition

Mr. Tarr moves that the proposed new text be amended in line 8 after the word, "services" the following:- "; provided, however, that regulations promulgated pursuant to sections 16II and 16JJ shall explicitly differentiate between willful, malicious abuse and challenging or aggressive behavioral symptoms that stem directly from diagnosed neurodegenerative conditions, cognitive impairments, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or traumatic brain injuries."
