Amendment 41

Death to the Death Tax

Messrs. Tarr, O'Connor and Fattman move that the proposed new text be amended by inserting at the end the following sections:-

"SECTION ___. Chapter 65A of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby repealed.

SECTION __. Chapter 65C of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby repealed.

SECTION __. The provisions of this act shall take effect for the estates of decedents dying on or after January 1, 2027."
