Ms. Miranda moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7008-1116, by adding the following words:- “provided further, that not less than $500,000 shall be expended to G{Code} to support technology education, workforce development, affordable housing, mentorship, and career pathway programming for Black, brown, and Indigenous young women and non-binary individuals pursuing careers in the technology sector”; and by striking out the figure “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$600,000”.
