Messrs. O'Connor and Cyr, Mrs. Dooner, Messrs. Collins and Tarr, Ms. Howard, Ms. Edwards, Messrs. Durant, Payano, Velis, Montigny and Eldridge and Ms. Lovely moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7002-1091, by adding the following words:- “provided further, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended to the Massachusetts Marine Trades Association for workforce development training opportunities and technical education in secondary and post-secondary schools for careers in the marine trades"; and by striking out the figure "$8,898,244” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$9,048,244”.
