Mr. Fernandes moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 8324-0500, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $40,000 shall be expended for the Kingston Fire Department for equipment related to cardiovascular support and rescue”; and by striking out the figure $100,000 and by inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$140,000“.
