Friends of the Salem Common

Ms. Lovely moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 2810-0122, by adding the following words:- "; provided further than not less than $50,000 shall be expended to the city of Salem, in consultation with Friends of the Salem Common, Inc., for the purchase and planting of trees to infill areas where trees have died and a signage program to publicly name and recognize donors of trees”; and by striking out the figure "$100,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$150,000".
