Friends of the Salem Common

Ms. Lovely moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 2810-0122, by adding the following words:- "; provided further than not less than $50,000 shall be expended by the city of Salem, in consultation with Friends of the Salem Common, for the purchase and planting of new trees to infill areas where trees have died as outlined by the City of Salem and a signage program to publicly name and recognize current and future donors of trees" in consultation with the City of Salem; and by striking out the figure "$100,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$150,000".
