WMass Veteran Outreach and Programming

Mr. Velis moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7008-1116, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $5,000 shall be expended to the Western Massachusetts Veteran Service Officer Association in the city of Northampton to support local veterans; provided further, that not less than $5,000 shall be expended to the Veteran Outreach Into Community Engagement in the town of Granby for regional programming and veteran outreach initiatives; provided further, that not less than $20,000 shall be expended to Community Roots in the city of Holyoke to support local veterans”; and by striking out the figure “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: - “$130,000”.
