Messrs. Collins and Payano and Ms. Miranda moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7008-1116, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended for the New England Medical Association, Inc. to address health disparities and increase the diversity of the physician workforce in the commonwealth, including the recruitment and retention of underrepresented physicians and to improve health outcomes in underserved communities"; and by striking out the figure “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$200,000”.
