Local Food Purchasing Assistance Program

Messrs. Eldridge, Keenan, Mark, Gómez, Lewis, Cronin, Durant, Collins and Driscoll, Ms. Howard, Mr. Fernandes, Ms. Edwards and Messrs. Brady and O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 2511-0100, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $7,000,000 shall be expended for the creation of a local food purchasing assistance program"; and by striking out the figure “$10,870,309” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$17,870,309”.
