Waste Reduction Needs Assessment

Mr. DiDomenico moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 2200-0100, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $1,200,000 shall be expended for the completion of a comprehensive waste reduction needs assessment consistent with the recommendation of the Massachusetts Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Commission established by Section 108 of Chapter 239 of the Acts of 2024”; and by striking out the figure “$50,371,172” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$51,571,172”.
