Mr. Collins moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 4512-0200, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended to Boston Health Care for the Homeless in the South End and Roxbury section of the city of Boston for direct care workers providing health care treatment services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness and mental health and substance use disorders in and around the intersection of Massachusetts avenue and Melnea Cass boulevard and the surrounding impact areas; provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended to the Boston Medical Center in the South End section of the city of Boston for direct care workers providing health care treatment services for those experiencing mental health and substance use disorders in and around the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard and the surrounding impact areas; provided further, that funds may be expended to implement the recommendations of the South End, Roxbury, Newmarket Working Group on Addiction and Recovery to address public health and safety crisis at the intersection of Massachusetts avenue and Melnea Cass boulevard and the surrounding impact areas in collaboration with the city of Boston"; and by striking out the figure "$192,031,129" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$192,531,129”.
