Walker, Inc

Mr. Rush moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 4512-0205, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended to Walker, Inc. for continuation of behavioral health and wellness services for incarcerated and post-release individuals with children from Suffolk and Norfolk County Sheriff Offices to promote successful child development, community reintegration, and reduced recidivism, and expansion of similar services for at-risk or court-involved youth from Suffolk and Norfolk County to promote mental health, academic success, and reduced criminal justice"; and by striking out the figure "$100,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$350,000".
