Walker, Inc

Messrs. Rush and O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 4512-0205, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended to Walker, Inc. for behavioral health and wellness services for incarcerated and post-release individuals with children in the counties of Suffolk and Norfolk to promote successful child development, community reintegration and reduced recidivism and for the expansion of similar services for at-risk and court-involved youth in the counties of Suffolk and Norfolk to promote mental health, academic success and reduced involvement in the criminal justice system"; and by striking out the figure "$100,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$350,000".
