Mr. Tarr, Ms. Edwards and Ms. Lovely moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 1599-0026, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $40,000 shall be expended to the metropolitan area planning council for the costs associated with the planning and coordination of a regional approach to municipal emergency services in Essex county"; and by striking out the figure "$10,000,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:-"$10,040,000 ".
