Tobacco Cessation and Prevention Program

Mr. Keenan, Ms. Lovely and Mr. Montigny moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 4513-1112, by striking out the words "funds shall be expended for smoking prevention and cessation programs, including youth tobacco use prevention and cessation programs"; and by inserting in place thereof the following words:- "not less than $6,752,977 shall be expended for smoking prevention and cessation programs, including youth tobacco use prevention and cessation programs at the Massachusetts Tobacco Cessation and Prevention Program"; and by striking out the figure “$12,295,532” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$12,947,134”.
