Nursing Facility Workforce Investments

Mr. Cyr moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 4000-0641, by adding at the end the following: - “; provided further, that not less than $130,000,000 shall be expended in base rates for additional payments over the rate established in October 2025 to reflect nursing facility resident care and workforce costs including wages, hiring of staff and training for nursing facility workers;”.
