GIC Rebate Report

Ms. Friedman moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 1108-5200, by adding the following words:- "provided further, that not later than February 1, 2028, the commission shall submit a report to the joint committee on health care financing and the house and senate committees on ways and means that shall include, but not be limited to: (i) an analysis of pharmacy and medical benefit claims that are subject to a discount under any state or federal program that may result in a reduction or loss of a negotiated manufacturer rebate; and (ii) the estimated annual rebate revenue impact attributable to each such program and assessment of the potential impact on plan member premiums and total plan costs"
