Dementia Care Coordination

Ms. Jehlen, Messrs. Collins and Keenan, Ms. Howard, Messrs. Gómez and Driscoll and Ms. Lovely moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 9110-1630, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $300,000 shall be expended for the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, Massachusetts Chapter Inc. to administer an evidence-based dementia care coordination program in order to reduce hospitalizations and emergency department visits and to delay long-term care placements”; and by striking out the figure “$298,988,931" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$299,288,931”.
