Scholarships for Massachusetts College of Art and Design Students

Ms. Miranda moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7010-1192, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $130,000 shall be expended for scholarships and financial assistance for students attending the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, with priority given to low-income students, first-generation college students, and students demonstrating financial need”; and by striking out the figure “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$230,000”.
