Jumpstart for Young Children, Inc

Ms. Jehlen moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 3000-1000, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $300,000 shall be expended to Jumpstart for Young Children, Inc. to provide evidence-based early childhood education programs to enhance language, literacy and early relational health for preschool children from communities with untapped potential"; and by striking out the figure "$9,370,519" and inserting in place thereof the figure "$9,670,519".
