Compassionate Care Fund

Mr. Montigny moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7008-1116, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that funds shall be expended to the Animal Rescue League of New Bedford for the Eleanor Mackler-Kruczek Compassionate Care Fund to provide discounted and no-cost veterinary services for low-income residents in the greater New Bedford area; provided further, that funds appropriated for the program in fiscal year 2026 shall not revert and shall be made available for the purposes of the program in fiscal year 2027”.
