Messrs. Cronin, Oliveira and Gómez, Ms. Howard, Messrs. Brady, Collins, Lewis and Payano, Ms. Kennedy, Mr. Keenan, Ms. Miranda, Messrs. Velis and Rush, Ms. Edwards and Messrs. Finegold and O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7010-1192, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $1,000,000 shall be expended to support Catie’s Closet, Inc. to provide critical clothing, hygiene products, and basic necessities to low-income students through the SOS Urgent Response Program in Gateway Cities to reduce chronic absenteeism by removing barriers to school attendance, and improving educational pathways and outcomes"; and by striking out the figure "$100,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$1,100,000".
