Credit Card Taxes

Mr. Tarr moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section ___ the following section:- “SECTION ___. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Department of Revenue shall decrease the percent that a payment processor may charge taxpayers using a credit card to pay their taxes from 2.35% to 1.5%.”
