Mr. Gómez moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7008-1116, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $300,000 shall be expended to FORGE to operate a statewide program that promotes manufacturing and innovation by supporting manufacturing readiness for startups and scaleups, connecting them to Massachusetts-based manufacturers to promote local supply chains and future resiliency", and by striking out the figure "$100,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "400,000".
