Tourism Marketing and Promotion Campaigns

Mr. Mark moved that the proposed new text be amended by adding at the end thereof the following sections:-

“SECTION XX.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, grants from the amounts collected pursuant to subsection (a) of section 13T of chapter 23A of the General Laws allocated to regional tourism councils pursuant to clause (ii) of subsection (d) of said section 13T of said chapter 23A for fiscal year 2027 shall be distributed not later than October 1, 2026 pursuant to a transfer schedule determined by the executive office for administration and finance.

SECTION XX.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, grants from the amounts collected pursuant to subsection (b) of section 13T of chapter 23A of the General Laws allocated to regional tourism councils pursuant to clause (ii) of subsection (d) of said section 13T of said chapter 23A for fiscal year 2026 shall be distributed not later than October 1, 2026 pursuant to a transfer schedule as determined by the executive office for administration and finance.”
