Reduce Hanscom Noise and Pollution

Mr. Eldridge moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section XX the following section:-

SECTION XX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the executive director shall interpret the term "commercial air passenger service" as set forth in 740 CMR 25.03 to include all interstate or foreign air transportation conducted in an aircraft with a seating capacity of greater than 60 seats and the executive director shall enforce the prohibition accordingly. "Interstate air transportation" and "foreign air transportation" shall have the meanings set forth in 49 U.S.C. § 40102. "Executive director" shall have the meaning set forth in 740 CMR 25.01.
