Damages for Harms Due To Defective Public Ways

Mr. Brownsberger moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section XX the following section:-

SECTION YY.  Section 15 of chapter 84 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2022 official edition, is hereby amended by striking the words "five thousand dollars" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$50,000".
