Electronic Signatures for Criminal Complaints

Ms. Jehlen moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting after section 35 the following sections:-

SECTION 35A. Section 2 of chapter 275 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “subscribed”, in line 5, the words:- “, electronically or in person,”.

SECTION 35B. Section 22 of chapter 276 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2024 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “subscribed”, in line 4, the words:- “, electronically or in person,”.
