Emerge Career

Mr. Eldridge moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 8000-0655, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that $500,000 shall be expended for Emerge Career to establish and administer the Emerging Futures Reentry Skilled Trades Initiative for vocational training and job placement services for justice-involved and justice-impacted individuals in the commonwealth"; and by striking out the figure "$7,000,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$7,500,000".
