First Responder Suicide Prevention

Mr. Montigny moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 8000-0313, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $750,000 shall be expended to provide law enforcement agencies with access to critical incident stress management and peer support programs to address police officer mental wellness and suicide prevention under section 118 of chapter 253 of the acts of 2020"; and by striking out the figure "$100,000" and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- "$850,000".
