Mr. Oliveira moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 8000-0313, by adding at the end the following: “; provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended for the Hampden County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) in partnership with the Mental Health Association (MHA) and regional Housing Authorities, to support coordinated case management and Housing Authority partnerships, and preserve a proven pathway that reduces homelessness and repeat justice involvement” and by striking out the figures “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$200,000”.
