Research on Prison Disparities

Ms. Kennedy moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 8900-0001, by adding the following words:- "; and provided further that not less than $125,000 shall be expended for Building Equity in Objective Prison Classification: A Model for Reducing Racial and Ethnic Disparities research conducted at the Implementation Science and Practice Advances Research Center at the University of Massachusetts medical school"; and by striking out the figure “$859,650,607” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$859,775,607”.
