Mr. Velis moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 8324-0050, by adding the following words:- “, provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for the Easthampton Fire Department in the city of Easthampton for the purchase of interoperable communications equipment.”; and by striking out the figure “$50,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: - “$150,000”.
