Mr. Velis moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 8324-0050, by adding the following words:- “; provided further, that not less than $90,000 shall be expended for the Northwestern Youth Fire Intervention Response, Education and Safety Partnership (NoFIRES) program to support fire safety education and intervention services for families in the region.”; and by striking out the figure “$100,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: - “$190,000”.
