AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF OF POLICE OF THE TOWN OF LEXINGTON TO HEAR COMPLAINTS RELATING TO DOGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section one hundred
and fifty-seven of
chapter one hundred and forty of the General Laws or any other general or
special law to the contrary, the chief of police of the town of Lexington
or his designee shall carry out the functions assigned to the board of
selectmen under said section one hundred and fifty-seven of said chapter
one hundred and forty.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
