AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSING OF OR SELLING CERTAIN POWER PLANTS AND SUBSTATIONS OF THE MASSACHUSETTS BAY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
SECTION 1. Chapter six hundred and twenty-eight of the acts of
nineteen hundred and
sixty-six is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or
special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority
is hereby prohibited from disposing of its substation in Oak square in that
section of the city of Boston known as Brighton, and all land appurtenant
thereto, by sale, lease or in any other way and said authority is hereby
directed to continue to maintain said substation.
