AN ACT AUTHORIZING DONALD A. MacPHAIL TO TAKE A CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION FOR THE POSITION OF POLICE OFFICER IN THE TOWN OF MONTAGUE NOTWITHSTANDING THE MAXIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or
special law or rule to the contrary regulating the maximum age of
applicants for appointment as a police officer, Donald A. MacPhail shall be
eligible to take a civil service examination for police officer
in the town of Montague and, provided he meets all other requirements,
shall be eligible for certification and appointment.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
