Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
SECTION 1. The town of Webster, acting by and through its board of selectmen, is hereby authorized to lease to Vicon Recovery Systems, Inc., for a period of time not to exceed forty years, for the purposes of constructing and operating a resource recovery facility and purposes incidental thereto, a certain parcel of land located off Town Forest road in the town of Webster and generally bounded and described as follows:
A certain parcel of land situated in the Town of Webster, County of Worcester, Commonwealth of Massachusetts being about 2,855 feet easterly of Town Forest Road, bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the most southwesterly corner of the parcel herein described, being the most northwesterly corner of land now or formerly owned by Edgar Scheffler and recorded with the Worcester Registry of Deeds in Book 4988 Page 332;
Thence N 77>= 00'E along said land of Edgar Scheffler a distance of 1072.50 feet;
Thence N 37>= 30'E along land of now or formerly owned by Nicholas Russo; et als. a distance of 601.26 feet to the Webster-Oxford town line;
Thence westerly along the above mentioned town line a distance of about 1,555.50 feet to land now or formerly owned by Package Industries, Inc.;
Thence S 15>= 45' E along land of said Package Industries, Inc. a distance of 396.00 feet to the Point of beginning.
Being land acquired by instrument of taking from Norman F. Chaffee recorded in the Worcester district registry of deeds in the county of Worcester, Book 2730, Page 167 and Book 3073, Page 330.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
