AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CONTINUING EMPLOYMENT OF ANTHONY ZANGLA, A COURT OFFICER IN SUFFOLK COUNTY.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would
tend to defeat its purpose, which is to
immediately authorize Anthony Zangla to continue his employment as a court officer,
therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law,
necessary for the immediate preservation of the
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
Notwithstanding the provisions of section seventy-two of chapter two
hundred and twenty-one of the General Laws or of any other general or
special law to the contrary, Anthony Zangla, a court officer of the superior
court department of the trial court of Suffolk is hereby authorized to
continue in such position, provided he is mentally and physically capable
of performing the duties of his office or position. Said Anthony Zangla
shall annually, at his own expense, be examined by an impartial physician
designated by the state retirement board to determine such capability.
