AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF HULL TO SETTLE A CERTAIN CLAIM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
SECTION 1. For the purposes of discharging a moral obligation, the
town of Hull, acting by and through its board of selectmen, is hereby
authorized to settle a claim brought against said town by Lester Harmon and Linda
Harmon as parents of Lee Ann Harmon under the provisions of section
eighteen of chapter eighty-four of the General Laws for an amount not to
exceed five thousand dollars, notwithstanding failure to comply with the
notice provisions of said section eighteen.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
