AN ACT RELATIVE TO SALARIES OF JUSTICES IN THE COMMONWEALTH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
Notwithstanding the provisions of section twenty of chapter six hundred
and forty-eight of the acts of nineteen hundred and eighty-seven, any
person appointed on or after July first, nineteen hundred and eighty-seven
to a position, the salary of which is fixed by the provisions of section
twenty-two of chapter two hundred and eleven, section two of chapter two
hundred and eleven A or section four of chapter two hundred and eleven B of
the General Laws, shall receive the salary or compensation provided for
such position by sections three to eight, inclusive, of said chapter six
hundred and forty-eight of the acts of nineteen hundred and eighty-seven,
to be effective as of the date of his appointment.
