Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of sections seven and ten of chapter forty-four of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the towns of Sudbury and Wayland are each hereby authorized to borrow a certain sum of money, not to exceed two hundred thousand dollars, in each instance, which monies shall be used for the construction or reconstruction of a certain wooden bridge, known as the Sherman's bridge, which spans the Sudbury river between the town of Sudbury and the town of Wayland.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
