AN ACT VALIDATING CERTAIN CONTRACTS OF THE CITY OF BOSTON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any contrary provision of chapter
thirty B of the General Laws or any contrary
provision of the city charter of the city of Boston or any inconsistent
provision of any other general or special law, rule, regulation or ordinance,
the city of Boston may lawfully
make payments under any contract listed in the document dated March 27, 1991,
entitled "Further Contracts Designated for Validation Through Special
Legislation" and filed on said date in the offices of both the finance
commission of the city of Boston and the city clerk of the city of Boston.
Each such contract shall continue in full force and effect, subject to any
special conditions set forth in said document, until the expiration date for
such contract specified in said document unless such contract is terminated
earlier in accordance with the terms of the contract; provided, however, that
in no event shall the amount paid by the city of Boston pursuant to such
contract exceed the amount specified in said document.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
