AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIDDLESEX COUNTY TO CONVEY A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND TO THE TOWN OF BILLERICA FOR PARK AND RECREATIONAL PURPOSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
SECTION 1. The county commissioners of Middlesex county are hereby
authorized and directed to convey to the town of Billerica a certain parcel of
park and recreation land located on the easterly side of Treble Cove road in
said town, containing one hundred and ninety-four acres of land to be used for
park and recreational purposes.
Said parcel of land is shown on a plan entitled "The County of Middlesex Plan
of Land in Billerica", dated October 1980 and recorded
in Middlesex north district registry of deeds, Book of Plans M., Plan 732,
being the same parcel which was transferred from the control and custody of the
sheriff of said county to the county commissioners of said county by chapter
four hundred and eighty-six of the acts of nineteen hundred and seventy-nine.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
